Mr Castillero’s practice focuses on private client work, including, estate planning, organization and management of family offices, international tax planning and corporate work.

Position

Mr. Castillero is Head of ARIFA’s estate and private clients group and an a member of the firm’s Compliance Committee. He is the leading partner of the ARIFA Pro Bono and CSR Committee.

Career

Gian Castillero joined the firm in 1994 and became a partner in 2008.

From 1994 to 2000, Mr. Castillero was the resident lawyer of our London office and an active member of the ship finance and registration department of the firm from 2000 to 2006. Later, and until 2013, Mr. Castillero headed ARIFA Corporate Services and its network of offices abroad. 

Mr Castillero serves as senior advisor of the Panamanian Government on matters related to the platform of international services of the Republic of Panama.
