Philippe Van Dijck – Ambos

The transport and logistics team at Ambos is equipped to handle matters ranging from up-to-date issues, such as matters involving autonomous vessels, to traditional transport law cases including cargo claims and accidents. The ‘knowledgeable and pragmatic’ Ingrid Van Clemen heads up the team from the firm’s Antwerp office and has a proven track record in maritime litigation. Her colleague Philippe Van Dijck is well placed to handle both transactional and contentious maritime mandates as well as contentious road rules matters.

Belgium > Commercial, corporate and M&A

Ambos maintains a client base composed primarily of Belgian and international SMEs in the life sciences sector, TMT firms, and financial services actors. All of whom instruct the team to handle the negotiation and legal due diligence aspects of strategic and private equity acquisitions, restructurings, and joint ventures. Jens Van Hecke is well-versed in M&A and handles both domestic and cross-border matters, frequently working with international partners to manage the Belgian aspects of international deals. Van Hecke co-heads the practice with commercial expert Philippe Van Dijck.
