Position
Andrew is a Legal Director in the firm’s Intellectual Property team. Andrew advises a range of clients on Intellectual Property matters and has a particular specialism in Anti-Counterfeiting.
Over the course of his career Andrew has dealt with and advised on various intellectual property matters through different legal solutions. He has significant experience in conducting trade mark, passing off, copyright, design right and patent litigation as well as advising on breach of privacy and breach of confidence claims.
Andrew has previously been ranked as a ‘Next Generation Partners’ in Legal500 and ‘Up and Coming’ in Chambers.

While Foot Anstey’s IP practice is primarily based across the firm’s offices in the South and South West of England, the key names in the Manchester practice have remained based in the city. Experienced practice head Roy Crozier is a specialist in anti-counterfeiting, including assisting with the removal of counterfeit stock, and brand protection strategy. He is supported by litigator Andrew Stone, who has experience in trademark infringement cases with precedent setting implications before both the English & Welsh Court of Appeal and the CJEU. The practice also regularly assists with trade mark filing. The practice caters to a range of international brands in a variety of sectors including fashion, transport, tech and gaming.
