Position

In addition to serving as the firm's managing partner, Ms. İşmen is a partner in the finance and projects practice group, specializing in banking & finance, PPPs (BO, BOTs, TOR, privatization and healthcare BLTs), acquisition finance, corporate finance, and securitizations. Ms. Işmen also practices in the area of technology media telecommunications law, including the regulation and policy of telecommunications, media, the internet and e-commerce and also has extensive experience in healthcare PPP projects.

Career

After serving as the International Director of Institutional Relations for the European Law Students' Association (ELSA) in Brussels in 1995, and working as an associate in another prestigious Istanbul law firm from 1995 to 1997, Ms. İşmen came to Hergüner Bilgen Özeke in 1998, where she has been a partner since 2007.

Education

Ms. İşmen received her Bachelor of Laws from Istanbul University School of Law in 1996 and her Master of Laws in International Business Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 1998.
