Mr Diederik Maessen
Position
Diederik specialises in the development, financing, construction, and acquisition of large-scale energy and infrastructure projects. He has broad domestic and international experience advising clients on all aspects of the value chain, including M&A, large-scale projects and corporate, finance, and commercial matters. Diederik has a particular focus on emerging technologies (such as CCUS and hydrogen), as well as renewable energy, oil & gas, LNG, ports & terminals, and nuclear sectors. He forms part of Van Doorne’s steering committee for energy and infrastructure matters. Diederik’s key clients include market-leading project sponsors and developers, infrastructure and energy funds, governments, and state-owned entities.
