Career

Jevgeniy is an Investment Funds partner in the Luxembourg office of AKD. Prior to joining AKD, Jevgeniy worked in both international and independent local firms in Luxembourg, Germany and the US, focusing on investment funds for the majority of his career. Jevgeniy joined AKD in 2020.

Jevgeniy has extensive experience in alternative investment fund formation and investment management, including advising fund initiators on fund establishment and through the full life cycle of an investment fund with a particular focus on private equity, venture capital, real estate, infrastructure, renewables and debt funds strategies. Jevgeniy has advised large US, UK and German fund sponsors on traditional and alternative fund structures as well as carried interest structures and assisted institutional and professional investors with funds due diligence.

Jevgeniy assists clients in diverse fund-related transactions, provides general investment fund and regulatory law advice and routinely advises in particular on aspects relating to Luxembourg unregulated fund structures (e.g. partnerships, RAIFs), regulated fund structures (e.g. SIF, SICAR, Part II funds) and regulated or registered fund managers (e.g. AIFM, UCITS management companies). Jevgeniy has a strong focus on English and German speaking jurisdictions.
