Maria Camilleri graduated in 2016 with a Doctor of Laws from the University of Malta, following the submission of her dissertation entitled, ‘Evidence of a Child in Civil Procedure,’ and was admitted to the bar in 2017. Maria completed a Master of Arts in Law degree, after submitting her dissertation entitled ‘How do Judges Incorporate Psychological Expertise in Civil Trials and Judgements?’ in 2020.

Maria joined Fenech & Fenech Advocates as an Associate working within the Local Litigation Department in 2022.

Before joining the Firm, Maria gained extensive experience in family law and practice, as well as assisted in civil and commercial matters, representing clients in both an alternative dispute resolution setting and in litigious circumstances before the Courts of Justice of Malta.
