Career

Arnaud Michel is a partner in the intellectual property department.

A recognized specialist in intellectual property law, Arnaud Michel advises and represents his clients in matters related to trademark, design, copyright and patent, in both, French and European law. He mainly advises European and American clients from various sectors such as luxury goods, textiles, toys, automobiles, show business and pharmaceuticals. He is regularly involved in litigations abroad, particularly in Turkey, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco.

Prior to joining FTPA, Arnaud Michel spent 41 years at Gide Loyrette Nouel where he was a partner for 34 years.

In a pro bono capacity, Arnaud Michel participated from the beginning in the creation of the Imagine Institute, of which he is a special guest on the board of directors.

Memberships

Arnaud Michel is a member of the board of directors of the Licensing Executive Society France (LES France) of which he was president (2001-2004). He is past president of LES France and co-chairman of the External Relations Committee of the Licensing Executive Society International (LESI) of which he was president in 2015. In the field of trademarks and designs, he is active in the APRAM, of which he was president.
