Career
Gill Lohan graduated from the National University of Ireland Galway (LLB) in 2006 and qualified in 2011. She trained at McCann FitzGerald LLP and became a Partner with the firm in 2018. Gill specialises in equity capital markets and in particular IPOs and equity issues by public companies. Gill also has a particular focus in mergers and acquisitions, public and private investments, shareholder arrangements, corporate restructurings, general corporate law and governance issues.
She has acted for leading Irish and international public and private companies, as well as the Irish Government, across a wide range of business sectors including financial services, agri-food and drinks, healthcare/life sciences, waste and tourism/hospitality.
Gill was invited to participate in, and joined, Euronext Dublin’s Corporate Governance Expert Group in June 2021 which considered key areas of proposed reform in Irish governance. She is is recognised in the IFLR1000 Women Leaders Guide 2022.
