David Lydon graduated from University College Dublin (BCL) in 1988 and qualified in 1992. He joined McCann FitzGerald in 1992 as a Trainee, becoming Partner in 2000 and later Head of Corporate Group. David has considerable experience across the full range of corporate transactions and arrangements, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate reorganisations and demergers, capital reductions and share buy-backs.

He also advises both Irish and international clients in the banking and financial services sector on matters of Irish corporate law, commercial contracts and corporate governance. David has worked on a number of investigations and has represented clients in interactions with regulators.
