Goodwin's cross-location real estate practice advises private equity investors, project developers and lenders on transactions and project developments and most recently focused on acquisition and sale of logistics and retail properties, including related financing issues. Marc Bohne advises domestic and foreign clients on the sale of real estate and real estate holding companies and, alongside Peter Junghänel, is well versed in asset management, including tenancy and leasing law. Stephan Kock is particularly adept in real estate financing and advises banks on senior loans and mezzanine structures as well as on restructuring measures. In April 2024, the team was strengthened by the arrival of Moritz Vettermann from Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, who focuses on portfolio transactions and the establishment of industry-specific joint ventures.
