Clifford Chance impresses with environmental and planning advice on LNG, hydrogen, offshore as well as electricity, solar and gas projects. It hereby focuses on matters concerning the energy transition and climate change as well as environmental risks and emissions trading, including ESG compliance. The team regularly cooperates closely with other practice groups such as corporate, real estate and project finance and is led by Mathias Elspaß, who frequently assists with approval procedures for infrastructure projects. He is supported by senior associate Katharina Vollmer, who is experienced in environmental law advice on public construction projects.
