With experience in advising on financing arrangements for assets ranging from office and retail space to logistics facilities, Greenberg Traurig Germany is able to oversee the financing of real estate acquisitions, and is also able to offer experience in financing for major property development projects, including mix-use urban developments. Practice head Claudia Hard combines expertise in new money finance with knowledge of restructuring, overseeing development, mezzanine and securitisation transactions. Both acquisition and development financing structures fall within Anika Mitzkait‘s wheelhouse, with experience in mortgage structures and also the restructuring of distressed debt. Anke Johann, an expert in both real estate financing and the restructuring of distressed facilities, joined the team from Goodwin in October 2025.
