Hausfeld Rechtsanwälte LLP is the firm of choice for claimants looking to recover damages from defendants found to have acted as part of a cartel, with the firm’s partners frequently appearing before the Federal Cartel Office, ECJ and European Commission. The practice is also able to utilise its claimant expertise to represent defendants in such proceedings. Heading up the team is Alex Petrasincu, an expert in German and European cartel matters, with Germany managing partner Ann-Christin Richter acting for clients in issues arising under the DMA. René Galle is active across the spectrum of competition disputes, assisting clients seeking injunctions against anti-competitive practices, including denials of access and refusals to supply. Thomas Höppner departed for Geradin Partners in September 2025.
