Career
Rolando is a partner at Consortium Legal – Costa Rica. With 30 years of experience, he specializes in mergers and acquisitions, foreign investment, international trade, real estate, civil and commercial litigation. He participated in multiple local and international transactions related mergers and acquisitions, securitizations, and real estate complex transactions. He has also acted as legal counsel in major litigation cases mainly in civil and commercial matters.
During his career, he served as president of the International Center for Conciliation and Arbitration (2009-2011); and he was an advisor to former president of Costa Rica, Abel Pacheco (2002-2004). He was nominated by Latin Lawyer magazine as one of the 40 best attorneys under the age of 40 in Central America (2006) and by Chambers Global as one of the leading lawyers in Costa Rica.
