Fox Rothschild Offers Data Breach Survival App

Scott L. Vernick was quoted in the Business Insurance article, "Fox Rothschild Offers Data Breach Survival App." Full text can be found in the February 17, 2014, issue, but a synopsis is noted below.

Fox Rothschild has launched Data Brach 411, an iPhone app designed to help guide companies affected by a data breach through various state rules and regulations regarding notification.

"Data breaches can severely impact a company's reputation and have debilitating consequences to businesses big and small," said Scott L. Vernick, a noted privacy attorney and Fox partner who spearheaded the development of the app.

"The ability to access these state rules at your fingertips can make all the difference in terms of what's at stake for an organization: loss of reputational integrity, public trust and business, and time-consuming and costly remediation efforts," Vernick said.
