FINRA seeks comment on expanding the collection of transaction data on U.S. Treasury Securities in its TRACE reporting facility.

United StatesFinance and Banking

FINRA is seeking comment on expanding the collection of transaction data on U.S. Treasury Securities in its TRACE reporting facility.

FINRA is looking to, among other things:

  • record finer increments on execution timestamps;
  • reduce the reporting timeframe;
  • identify non-alternative trading system ("ATS") venues and methods of execution;
  • add a new reporting field for desk identification;
  • standardize price reporting; and
  • report ATS fees separately.

Comments must be received by February 22, 2021.
