As the property industry emerges from the flurries of snow
currently causing travel chaos for hardened commuters, we turn our
thoughts to MIPIM. For those in the know, MIPIM is the annual
gathering of all things property in Cannes, France.
This year Bircham Dyson Bell LLP, like many other firms, will be
manning a stand in the Palais des Festivals whilst engaged in the
merry-go-round of events, lectures and networking morning, noon and
night.
MIPIM's survival through the recession is an indication of
the regard that the property industry holds for this event which
has become far more than a jolly in the south of France. If
anything, whilst the lavishness which abounded in earlier years has
faded, the importance of networking has taken centre stage. Where
else can you find some of the most influential players in the
industry corralled into one small area with limited distractions?
