+++ Singapore: Singapore launches a new type of permit, the so-called "ONE Pass" visa for highly skilled individuals who earn at least SGD 30,000 (approx. CHF 21,000) or can demonstrate exceptional achievements in the fields of arts and culture, sports, science, technology as well as research and teaching.

The permit will be valid for 5 years and will also allow spouses to work. Other changes include the job notification period, which will be reduced from 28 days to 14 days. The top 10% Employment Pass permit holders who have been assessed as such according to the “Complementarity Assessment Framework (COMPASS)” will remain exempt from the job notification requirement. +++
