On 20 September 2016, the Dutch government presented the 2017 Tax Bill together with several other legislative proposals. Simultaneously, the State Secretary of Finance sent a letter to Dutch Parliament about proposed changes to the Dutch dividend withholding tax position of cooperatives from 1 January 2018. Further clarification of the bill and the other proposals is expected during the parliamentary process.
