Changes Increase Trading System Amsterdam's Transparency

NetherlandsAntitrust/Competition Law
A number of changes are due to be implemented this autumn which will enhance Trading System Amsterdam(TSA), the integrated stock market trading system operated at the Amsterdam Exchanges NV. The changes will introduce greater transparency for some transactions and improve liquidity in the category National Market; shares and non-government bonds. The adjustments broadly fall into two categories:

ATM-Type Trade In Non-Government Bonds
Under the new system, the most liquid sector of non-government bonds, which includes issues of major banks such as Bank Nederlandse Gementeen, will be able to be traded in the same way as bonds on the Amsterdam Treasury Bond Market (ATM). Hoekman firms will be able to act as interdealer brokers though they will also be permitted to take positions.
