Visa-free entry for citizens of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain from June 1, 2022

The UK government announced that citizens of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain will be exempt from visa requirements from June 1, 2022. Instead, they will only need to apply online for an exemption (online visa waiver), which will allow them to stay in the UK visa-free for 6 months. The trip may be for tourism, business, study, or medical purposes. Visa requirements for work and settlement in the UK remain in effect. The online exemption application must be submitted between 3 months to 48 hours before departure and costs GBP 30.00 (approx. Fr. 36.00).
