De nouvelles mesures pour faciliter le maintien au régime de sécurité sociale du pays d'emploi

Afin de tenir compte du contexte sanitaire, l'application du règlement 883/2004 portant sur la coordination des systèmes de sécurité sociale a été neutralisée par de nombreuses déclarations unilatérales dont la validité s'est achevée le 30 juin 2023. Dans le but de trouver une solution pérenne à l'utilisation accrue du télétravail, les Etats membres de l'UE ont opté pour un accord-cadre qui concerne exclusivement le télétravail transfrontalier. L'accord-cadre a pris effet le 1er juillet 2023.

En application de l'article 13 p3 1 a) du règlement 883/2004, le travailleur frontalier est assujetti à la sécurité sociale de l'Etat membre dans lequel il exerce une partie substantielle de son activité professionnelle.
