Peut-on laisser un conteneur maritime indéfiniment sur son terrain, sans permis et sans autorisation de la municipalité? Voilà la question que s'est posée la Cour municipale de Montréal en octobre dernier, alors que la Ville de Montréal reprochait à 168244 Canada inc. (la « défenderesse ») d'avoir installé un conteneur sur son terrain sans avoir obtenu un certificat d'autorisation d'aménagement paysager.

Le 8 mars 2022, la Ville de Montréal reçoit une plainte concernant un conteneur maritime à une adresse située dans l'arrondissement de Ville-Marie, au nord de la rue Sherbrooke.

L'inspecteur du cadre bâti pour l'arrondissement vérifie le registre des permis et des certificats, mais il ne trouve rien concernant un conteneur maritime à cette adresse.
