En 2016, le gouvernement fédéral a proposé des changements aux règles régissant les litiges, les cours fédérales ont diffusé des directives sur le déroulement des litiges en matière de propriété intellectuelle et les tribunaux du Canada ont rendu des décisions qui ont eu des incidences sur les témoignages d'expert, la norme de contrôle, les dépens, la modification des jugements et les procès sommaires. Modifications des Règles de la Cour suprême du Canada

Un certain nombre de modifications aux Règles de la Cour suprême du Canada ont été présentées en novembre 2016 et sont entrées en vigueur le 1er janvier 2017. Les modifications portent sur un nouveau processus concernant les avis de questions constitutionnelles, sur de nouveaux délais de dépôt et sur le dépôt de la version électronique de documents.

A KTEP Ahead: Canada's New Mechanism For Advanced Examination Of Patent Applications
