Tom is completing his pupillage under the supervision of Timothy Jacobs and Simon Connolly.

Before commencing pupillage, Tom worked as a County Court Advocate, receiving instructions to act in personal injury, housing and contract disputes. He has experience representing clients in interim applications and at trial.

Alongside this work, Tom volunteered with the Witness Service at the Crown Court and Magistrates’ Court, where he supported prosecution and defence witnesses and regularly worked with vulnerable and intimidated individuals in sensitive proceedings, including RASSO trials and cases involving children.

Prior to undertaking the Bar Course, Tom gained cross-jurisdictional experience working as a paralegal at a commercial litigation and insolvency law firm in Australia. His work included drafting legal advice, conducting an independent misconduct investigation and appearing before the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
