Greg joined Park Square Barristers following a career as a criminal defence solicitor then a Senior Crown Prosecutor. Having practised throughout every stage of the criminal justice process, he offers instructing solicitors and lay clients the benefit of extensive advocacy experience together with a comprehensive understanding of criminal litigation from investigation and charging through to trial and appeal.

Before joining Chambers, Greg was a Senior Crown Prosecutor within the Crown Court Unit of the Crown Prosecution Service, where he reviewed and managed serious and complex criminal cases. Working closely with investigators and instructed counsel, he advised on charging decisions, evidential issues and trial strategy in cases involving murder, serious violence, fraud, robbery, burglary, domestic abuse and other serious offending. This experience enables him to identify the key issues in a case quickly and provide clear, practical advice from the outset.

Prior to joining the CPS, Greg practised as a criminal defence solicitor, regularly appearing before the Magistrates' Court conducting trials, contested hearings, sentencing hearings, bail applications and appeals. Having represented both prosecution and defence throughout his career, he understands the priorities of all parties and brings a balanced, pragmatic approach to every case.

Greg is recognised for his meticulous preparation, sound judgement and calm advocacy. Approachable and responsive, he prides himself on being available whenever professional clients require advice or representation. He understands that urgent issues do not always arise during office hours and is committed to providing practical support whenever it is needed.
