Position

Meghan Daniels specialises in all aspects of children law, with a particular emphasis on public and private cases.

Within public law, Meghan has a varied practice, accepting instructions on behalf of parents, children, intervenors and local authorities. She is regularly instructed in cases involving serious allegations, including physical and sexual abuse, deprivation of liberty, non-accidental injury and neglect.

Within private law, Meghan’s practice includes all aspects of private children proceedings, including disputes involving domestic abuse, coercive control, implacable hostility to contact, mental health difficulties and substance misuse issues.

Meghan also accepts instructions in the Court of Protection in cases relating to health and welfare decisions, acting on behalf of local authorities and respondents.

Meghan has a particular interest in ensuring vulnerable clients are able to navigate proceedings and properly advance their case. She is known for her ability to successfully build a rapport with clients and to make them feel at ease.
