Position
Victoria Wyer s a Partner in Dentons' Capital Markets practice with experience on a wide range of international debt capital markets transactions.
Victoria's focus includes advising underwriters and issuers (corporates and financial institutions) in connection with various capital markets products, including regulatory capital, listed eurobonds, EMTN and ECP programme establishments/updates and drawdowns.
Victoria has particular experience in advising on liability management transactions, including cash tenders, exchange offers, consent solicitations and negative consents. She also has experience in relation to both investment grade and emerging market transactions as well as sovereign and supranational bond offerings and convertible and exchangeable bonds.
Victoria has been ranked as "One to Watch" for Capital Markets Law in the Best Lawyers 2024 Edition and as a Next Generation Partner in Debt Capital Markets by Legal 500 for 2024. Victoria was also shortlisted for the Finance Rising Star Award by the Women in Business Law Awards Europe 2021 and 2023.
Victoria is the Co-Chair of Inspire, Dentons' gender equality network and co-founder of The Dentons Women's Banking Network (DWBN), which was established in February 2023 to support women in the Dentons Banking and Finance department. DWBN has been shortlisted in the ‘Outstanding in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion’ category at the 2024 Women, Influence & Power in Law UK Awards.
