Ben is the Chair of Clyde & Co's Global Arbitration Group and Chair of the Dispute Resolutions Practice Group.

Ben has substantial experience in investor-state arbitrations, having been involved in 50+ such hearings. The investor-state cases involve the rules from leading international arbitration institutions including ICC, ICSID, PCA, UNCITRAL, LMAA, LME and LCIA. Ben has successfully represented multiple Yemeni interests for over fifteen years, which has played a major part in him being the only person ranked and the firm recognised for general business law in Yemen by Chambers.Clients describe Ben as an “outstanding professional who combines his extensive knowledge of arbitration with a flexible approach”.

Ben co-founded the Virtual Arbitration website, bringing together knowledge and information from several firms, institutions and technological providers on how to approach virtual arbitrations.
