Bart-Adriaan focuses on the representation and advice of companies and/or its management board, supervisory board or shareholder(s) in complex international and national corporate and commercial litigation and crisis situations. He regularly represents clients in high-profile media sensitive proceedings. His expertise entails (director’s) liability cases, contractual (post M&A) disputes, shareholder & joint-venture disputes/activism (collective actions/WAMCA), international (prejudgment) attachment and execution disputes and conflicts in relation to insolvency/restructuring (bet-the-company). Next to civil (interlocutory) proceedings, Bart-Adriaan is experienced in Enterprise Chamber (inquiry) proceedings and arbitration (NAI and ICC).

Bart-Adriaan regularly publishes and lectures on his areas of expertise such as corporate litigation, director's liability and board room counselling.
