María de los Ángeles Olano - Tax and Customs Law

María de los Ángeles Olano has over 22 years of experience in tax law, advising domestic and international clients on complex tax matters, transactions and disputes. Her practice focuses on domestic and international tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, share transfers, digital economy matters, initial public offerings (IPOs), trusts, tax-free reorganisations, project finance, investment structuring, estate planning, tax due diligence and tax controversy before administrative authorities and courts.

She has been consistently recognised since 2018 by leading international legal directories, including Chambers Latin America, The Legal 500, Leaders League and Lexology Index.

Prior to joining TRSM as Partner, she spent more than 18 years in Beccar Varela's Tax Department and previously worked at Cárdenas, Di Ció, Romero, Tarsitano & Lucero and Bomchil.

María de los Ángeles is also actively involved in academia and professional organisations, serving as Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Argentine Association of Fiscal Studies (AAEF) and Secretary of the Argentine Branch of the International Fiscal Association (IFA).

She graduated with honours from the University of Buenos Aires, where she also completed postgraduate studies in Tax Law, and further completed the Intensive Programme on International Taxation in Latin America at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella.
