Position

A lawyer and specialist in Labor Law and Industrial Relations from Universidad Externado de Colombia, with over 15 years of professional experience in labor consulting, negotiation, and training. She has led labor audits, inspections before the UGPP (Special Administrative Unit for Pension and Payroll Management), due diligence, and strategic support for companies in sectors such as oil & gas, energy, retail, technology, and education. She has also taught in specialized training programs and has been recognized by The Latin American Corporate Counsel Association (LACCA) as a recommended lawyer. Currently, she is a member of the Board of Directors of the Colombian Association of Labor Lawyers. 

Career

She has over 10 years of professional experience, two in the private sector and eight at Godoy. For four years, Gloria was part of the audit unit, managing labor audits of Ecopetrol’s contractors. She also conducted UGPP audits, express audits, due diligence, and other audits. For the past 14 years, she has been part of the labor advisory team, serving partner Santiago Martínez Méndez’s client portfolio, with a focus on the oil and gas sector. She has also served thermoelectric plants, the retail sector, the education sector, and the technology sector. She has also provided support to the firm’s negotiation and training departments. Currently, she teaches at Javeriana University (Labor Law Diploma) and the University of the Andes (Business Law Specialization).
