Career

Kati Beckmann is a partner in the Finance and Private Funds practice and leads the German Private Funds practice group. She is also co-leader of the German ESG practice group. Kati advises sponsors and investors on domestic and cross-border fund structuring, fund investments, fund marketing across asset classes, NAV and subscription facilities. Her clients include national and international sponsors, fund managers, leading German insurance companies and other institutional investors.

Kati also advises sponsors and investors on regulatory requirements and insurance supervisory law. In addition, she has extensive experience in advising clients on financing and refinancing transactions as well as workout and insolvency scenarios and distressed loan investments (NPLs).

Prior to joining the firm, Kati worked for several years at Olswang Germany, the banking team of Freshfields in London and Frankfurt/Main and the finance group of CMS Hasche Sigle in Berlin.
