He has over 50 years of legal experience and is recognized as one of Mexico’s most experienced and respected litigators in civil, commercial, and administrative law, as well as in insolvency and bankruptcy proceedings, alternative dispute resolution, and constitutional litigation.
Throughout his career, he has represented and advised both national and multinational corporations, as well as government entities, across a wide range of industries. His clients include key players in strategic sectors of the economy, such as the steel, mining, petrochemical, and energy industries; the financial, banking, insurance, and securities sectors; and the real estate, agricultural, and food industries (including sugar and beverages).
He has also advised companies in the transportation (air, rail, sea, and automotive), telecommunications, entertainment, publishing, tourism and hospitality, manufacturing, textile, leather and footwear, beauty and luxury, fine jewelry and watches, healthcare and pharmaceutical, tobacco, retail, construction, and paint and coatings industries, among others.
In the public sector, he has acted both as advisor and counterparty in judicial proceedings involving governmental entities and public organizations in Mexico and abroad.
