He has legal experience since 2000 specializing in litigation in Civil, Administrative and Commercial matters, as well as in Insolvency and Restructuring Proceedings, Constitutional Proceedings and Alternative Dispute Resolutions. ACADEMIC BACKGROUND Octavio Ochoa Huerta has written numerous articles for newspapers and law magazines, and is continuously invited by press and newscasts in Mexico to issue his opinion as litigation expert. He has collaborated as lecturer of “Insolvency Law” at “Universidad Latinoamericana (ULA)” and taught “Commercial Law” and “Forensic Practice in Private Law” at the “Colegio Superior de Ciencias Jurídicas”. During 2003 and 2004 he was lecturer of “General Theory of the Process” at “Universidad Iberoamericana” and at “Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económica, (CIDE)”, both universities located in Mexico City. Thanks to his high academic performance at “Instituto de Empresa Business School”, he was invited by the “Northwestern University School of Law” to attend as exchange student to the “Master in Law (LL.M.)” in Chicago, USA. Octavio Ochoa Huerta received his “B.A. in Law” with Honors from the “Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (ITESO)” in 2005.
