Laura De Boel is an Associate in the Hunton & Williams Brussels office. She is a Belgian-qualified attorney whose practice focuses on European data protection issues. In particular, Ms. De Boel advises multinational clients on general European data protection compliance across a range of sectors. She assists with advising on international data transfer requirements, implementing compliance programs in various European and non-European jurisdictions and counseling on all aspects of Belgian privacy and data protection law, such as social networks, online behavioral advertising, employee monitoring and whistleblower hotlines. She also assists clients in their dealings with the Belgian data protection authority.
