Dr. Martin Weitenberg is a Partner at Eversheds Sutherland in Dusseldorf and member of the Global Energy Group as well as the firm’s Africa Group.
He advises national and international clients on all aspects of energy law. His main area of practice includes advising on renewable energy and other energy infrastructure projects as well as on transactions in the energy sector.
Since 2016 Martin is lecturer of the European and International Energy Law MBL programme at the TU Berlin.
He is author of diverse publications on energy industry law, inter alia as co-author of commentaries on the German Energy Industry Act (EnWG) and the German Renewable Energies Act (EEG).
