Dr. Michael Prüßner, LL.M. is a Partner at Eversheds Sutherland in Munich and a member of the Corporate and M&A practice group.
In his practice Michael advises German and international corporations as well as private equity companies on M&A transactions, particularly in cross-border matters with a clear focus on the industrial and consumer goods sector.
In addition Michael has particular expertise in advising management and board members on matters of corporate governance, questions regarding stock corporation and corporate group law and in the area of compliance.
Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Michael Prüßner worked as a partner at a major international law firm in the area of M&A and Commercial as well as for the legal consultancy section of a big four consulting firm. Previously, he was the general counsel and authorised representative in all legal and compliance matters of an international retail group.
His many years of in-house experience and economic training are a huge asset particularly in the area of legal project management, i.e. leading complex projects and involving all relevant advisors in connection with a business-oriented, clear, fast and straight-forward presentation of complex issues.
Michael Prüßner studied law and economics, wrote his doctoral thesis on a criminal tax law topic and completed his education with an LL.M. in tax and accounting law.
Since 2016, he has been teaching as a lecturer for commercial and corporate law at the International School of Management (Munich and Cologne). Michael Prüßner is the author of numerous publications in the area of commercial and corporate law and a regular speaker at venues such as universities and specialist conferences.
