In April 2023, Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP strengthened its M&A practice with the arrival of M&A and private equity expert Florian Harder from Shearman & Sterling LLP, who acts from the firm's newly opened Munich office and jointly leads its corporate business transaction team with Christian Zschocke. The practice is particularly well versed in cross-border transactions and, due to its interdisciplinary set-up, also frequently advises on antitrust, capital markets and tax aspects.

Morgan Lewis Frankfurt office is home to a team of lawyers who concentrate on projects and transactions—especially mergers and acquisitions and public and private equity transactions—as well as financial services advice, including on securities, capital markets, and derivatives.

The lawyers are qualified in Germany and other global jurisdictions, mainly in the United States, and understand the sophisticated and innovative nature of the German economy.

Morgan Lewis Frankfurt office advises German and global clients—which range from large multinational companies and financial institutions to medium-sized companies and startups—in the full spectrum of industries, with particular strength in the manufacturing, energy, technology, life sciences, financial services, and automotive sectors.

The team in Frankfurt collaborates seamlessly with colleagues across the offices in North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East to provide counsel on a variety of domestic and global corporate and business transactions, including complex cross-border transactions involving matters related to mergers and acquisitions, international finance, investment management, private equity, securities, financial restructuring, labor and employment, labor-management relations, immigration, outsourcing, and tax.

They also have handled German and European antitrust and competition, intellectual property, real estate, litigation, and dispute resolution matters.
