Raquel is part of the Arias Dispute Resolution Department, where she actively participates in highly complex litigation, particularly in Civil, Commercial, and Administrative Law, as well as in alternative dispute resolution mechanisms. She has extensive experience in disputes related to distribution agreements, unfair competition, contractual breaches, and both contractual and non-contractual liability. Additionally, she provides legal counsel and support in labor compliance matters and administrative sanctioning procedures before public authorities. She also takes part in due diligence processes concerning labor compliance and advises on personal data protection and Consumer Law.
She joined Arias in 2022, following a distinguished career of more than fifteen years in the Judicial Branch and Public Administration. Her background includes serving as a judicial clerk in civil, commercial, and instructional courts, as well as at the Supreme Court of Justice, specifically in the Constitutional Chamber, where she worked as a legal advisor for over seven years. In the Public Administration, she gained experience in authorization procedures and administrative sanctioning processes, in addition to holding advisory roles in various areas.
Her tenure in the Judicial Branch and Public Administration provided her with in-depth substantive knowledge in these areas, as well as practical skills for designing efficient dispute resolution strategies. Her attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strong argumentation skills have positioned her as a key professional in structuring legal strategies for clients in sectors such as services, industry, construction, banking, and real estate.
