Abdulrahman AlAjlan

Abdulrahman has 17 years of litigation and commercial experience. He represents clients at the Sharia Courts, the Board of Grievance, the SAMA Committee, Labor Committee, Committee for Negotiable Instruments and all other courts and tribunals. He has extensive arbitration experience, both as an arbitrator and also representing clients in arbitration proceedings.

Tamim AlKhudhayri

Tamim's practice focuses on corporate transactions. He is actively assisting in relation to ongoing corporate matters to both Saudi-based and foreign entities in the health and pharmaceutical, IT/C, industrial and food sectors. Tamim interacts with regulators on a regular basis, including SAGIA, MoCI, SFDA and CITC.

Matthew Dening is the General Manager of the Firm’s Regional Headquarters in Riyadh and a member of the Firm's Global Management Committee. Matthew is a member of the Editorial Board of Butterworths Journal of International Banking and Finance Law and has served as a member of the City of London Law Society's Financial Law Committee. He has been a speaker and guest panelist at conferences in the derivatives and structured finance area, as well as law firm management and social mobility. Matthew serves as a trustee of the City of London Academies Trust; a multi-academy trust that aims to uplift and empower students from less privileged backgrounds. Matthew focuses his practice primarily on cross-border structured finance transactions involving derivatives, repos and securities lending, as well as the regulation of financial products. Matthew is also a member of the Firm’s global Alternative Capital team that provides best-in-class investment solutions for family offices, founders, sovereign wealth and other sources of private capital.

With over two decades of experience, Karim has established himself as a cornerstone of the Saudi legal landscape. His experience spans many local and international transactions, encompassing mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and equity capital markets activities. Whether advising Saudi or foreign clients, Karim's strategic guidance and deep understanding of the legal complexities empower clients to confidently navigate complex transactions. Karim's role extends beyond individual client representation. In 2005, he led the establishment of the equity capital markets practice in Saudi Arabia and since then has been renowned for his depth of knowledge and experience and has consistently been recognized by legal directories as an expert in his field.

Gavin has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating engineering, construction and consultancy contracts, including on major infrastructure, mining and processing projects. He has acted for government departments, owners, financiers, consultants and contractors. Gavin also has extensive experience in advising on construction disputes and dispute resolution proceedings.

Zahi is a partner in our Saudi Arabian Corporate and Securities team. He has over 23 years of experience helping companies with complex mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, corporate reorganizations, securities, and capital markets. Zahi’s main focus includes Telecommunications & Technology, Healthcare & Pharmaceutical, and Retail & Consumer Goods sectors.
