Bhering Advogados is an independent law firm founded in 1978, in Rio de Janeiro, specializing in intellectual property and related matters, including trademarks, patents, industrial design, copyright and neighboring rights, information technology law, enforcement against counterfeiting and unfair competition, licensing, transfer of technology and IP litigation.

It represents large multinational corporations, particularly companies based in the USA, Europe and Asia and their Brazilian subsidiaries, belonging to various industrial sectors, such as automotive, chemical, biotech, aviation, engineering, pharmaceutical, sports, entertainment, telecommunications, software, fashion, among others.

Our main office is located in Rio de Janeiro, strategically close to INPI’s headquarters. The São Paulo branch was opened in 2004, and offers assistance in all fields of Intellectual Property to the subsidiaries of our foreign clients and domestic clients based in said State, the country’s main business center.
