Chris is a Partner in our family team.

He has over 25 years’ experience in financial and children arrangements following complex separation, divorce and relationship breakdown for clients nationwide and living overseas.

Adept at handling complex cases with sensitivity and discretion, Chris has developed expertise in high-conflict divorces and complex financial disputes that involve business assets and pensions. He represents a large volume of clients within the NHS, Police service and other public and third-sector organisations where pension sharing has been a particular consideration.

Central to his approach is a belief that every family is unique and has circumstances that require careful consideration of individual needs to ensure a successful outcome. Since many of Chris’ clients come to him at their most vulnerable moments, he always aims to be firm but fair and offer support, empathy, clear guidance and advice.

A trained mediator that remains mindful of the Resolution Code of Practice, Chris promotes a non-confrontational approach to family law problems and encourages solutions that consider the needs of the whole family — especially the best interests of children.
