Littler is the largest global employment and labour law practice, providing workplace solutions that are local, everywhere. With over 1,800 lawyers in more than 95 offices worldwide, Littler represents management in all aspects of employment and labour law.
Position
Sophie is a Partner at Littler and is experienced in all aspects of employment law and is commended for her knowledge of the financial services sector.
Sophie frequently advises employers on matters including TUPE, restrictive covenants and discrimination claims. Specialising in complex employment litigation, she regularly advises on restrictive covenants, breach of confidentiality and team move matters which involve High Court injunctions and subsequent trials, as well as bonus disputes and high-value discrimination claims.
Many of the cases Sophie works on have cross-jurisdictional elements. She has worked on some of the most complex employment litigation matters, specialising in tailoring a strategic approach to her clients’ risk and litigation appetite.
Career
Before joining Littler as a Senior Associate in 2012, Sophie trained and worked at Linklaters where she undertook a five-month secondment to global investment bank RBS, to assist with restructuring issues following RBS's acquisition of ABN AMRO. Sophie was promoted to Partner in 2015 and Equity Partner in 2020.
