BACKGROUND

Ariff Rozhan & Co (ARC) is a firm established in 2015 focusing primarily on dispute resolution, led by its principal partners, Ariff Rozhan, William Lim, and Christopher Arun.

ARC’s principal partners were all former partners in Malaysia’s largest law firm where Ariff was also a member of the Executive Committee and head of its Dispute Resolution and Arbitration practice, whilst Ezane Chong was a partner in the Dispute Resolution practice of another one of Malaysia’s largest and most established law firms. Sylvie Tan Sze Ni joined the partnership in 2025 having been with the firm for approximately 8 years.

ARC also acts for multinational clients from Europe, United States, and the Middle East and Asia.

Our Partners were also among the first Malaysian lawyers exposed to novel issues in Securities Law, Banking and Finance, disputes in relation to Offshore Regulations and revocation of Offshore Trust Licenses, conducting Forensic Litigation Due Diligence exercises for local and international clients, and conducting, as Lead Counsel, cross-border disputes in the UK Courts and international commercial arbitrations involving multiple jurisdictional issues.
