Based in Aberdeen, Lorna is a Partner in our Family Law team.

Having specialised exclusively in family law since 1995, Lorna advises individuals on all aspects of family law but particularly on the financial aspects in high value divorces including matters concerning maintenance, family businesses, and international assets.

Whilst she is a highly experienced litigator, Lorna is committed to alternative dispute resolution. She has practiced collaboratively for many years, as well as being an accredited mediator. Lorna is also currently ranked by Chambers and Partners as a Band 1 lawyer.

Over the years, Lorna has delivered seminars on various aspects of family and child law to legal professionals. She has also supported aspiring lawyers through the University of Aberdeen and the Law Society of Scotland by providing careers advice.

Outside of the office, Lorna is an active member of the Family Law Association and FLAGS (Family Law Arbitration Group Scotland). She is also the former chairperson and board member of Avenue (a local family mediation service in Aberdeen.
