Thorntons can trace its roots back to 1857 when Sir Thomas Thornton began a legal practice in Dundee. Through the generations, Thorntons has grown to become Scotland’s fourth largest independent law firm, and it now has a network of fourteen offices in eleven towns and cities, covering Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Fife, Perthshire and Angus.
