Position

Sukrit specializes in dispute resolution with an emphasis on civil, corporate, and commercial disputes including advising on disputes arising out of complex regulatory frameworks. His key focus areas comprise Insolvency and Bankruptcy, Real Estate, Construction and Infrastructure, and Employment and Labour.

His practice sees him advising clients on strategizing and appearing before various courts with a significant focus on Supreme Court of India, numerous High Courts, NCLTs, NCLAT, NCDRC, CGITs, and various ad-hoc and institutional arbitral tribunals, amongst others. He has been assisting leading corporates on various complex and complicated matters pertaining to commercial disputes, and regularly advises on litigation prevention and litigation closure strategies. Prior to being called to the bar his experience ranged from working in India and abroad with international organisations including the United Nations. He has graduated from Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar and also holds an LLM in International Law from the University of Essex, United Kingdom.

Partner at King Stubb & Kasiva with a practice focused on complex dispute resolution, representing domestic and international clients across civil, corporate and commercial litigation, arbitration, insolvency and bankruptcy, white-collar crime, investigations, real estate, construction and infrastructure disputes.

Advises corporates, promoters, boards, and key managerial personnel on high-value disputes, regulatory investigations, litigation strategy, risk mitigation, and dispute avoidance, with regular appearances before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, NCLTs, NCLAT, NCDRC, CGITs, and domestic as well as institutional arbitral tribunals.

Prior to joining the Bar, gained international exposure through assignments with the United Nations and other international organisations, providing a global perspective to his commercial disputes and cross-border advisory practice.

Regularly advises leading multinational corporations and emerging businesses on complex commercial disputes, white-collar defence, insolvency proceedings, internal investigations, labour and employment disputes, and litigation closure strategies.
