Silvia D\'Amico
Silvia is an Associate in Rosling King’s Dispute Resolution Team. She qualified as an Italian lawyer in 2011, and thereafter she moved to London where she practised as a Registered European Lawyer in England and Wales, before qualifying as a Solicitor in 2020. Silvia has extensive experience in commercial cross-border disputes and multi-jurisdictional cases. She specialises in a wide range of complex litigation matters, including contractual disputes, civil fraud claims, professional negligence claims, and enforcement of foreign judgments in England. Due to her fluency in English and Italian, Silvia has worked on documents and advised clients in both languages throughout proceedings.

Cheynne D\'Souza
Cheynne is an Associate in Rosling King’s Dispute Resolution Team and has experience working in a diverse range of cross-border disputes for corporate clients, including those pertaining to complex professional negligence and corporate fraud claims. Her work involves handling high-value professional negligence recoveries on behalf of lenders against valuers and project monitoring surveyors from the infant pre-action stages of the litigation and beyond. The strong multi-jurisdictional element to the work at Rosling King has seen Cheynne perform an important role in assisting with the pursuit of debt and worldwide assets, as well as defending various interim applications in the High Court of England and Wales (for example, relating to jurisdiction and a stay or strike out of the proceedings). Cheynne has also gained valuable experience in real estate litigation, in which she acted for lenders and LPA Receivers in a range of standard and non-standard mortgage repossession matters.

Michael Fagan
Michael is an Associate in Rosling King’s Real Estate Group with a range of experience in commercial, residential and real estate finance transactions. Michael regularly works for lenders, developers and private equity funds on the acquisition, sale, refinancing and letting of both residential and commercial premises. Michael also works closely with the firm’s Finance Group, acting for both lenders and corporate borrowers on complex lending transactions. He also regularly reports to banks, both domestic and international, on the suitability of property as security.

Zoe is a Senior Associate in RK’s Dispute Resolution Team where she specialises in complex commercial and company disputes. Zoe has experience in company matters such as unfair prejudice petitions, corporate fraud and directors’ duties claims, as well as financial services disputes, breach of duty and breach of contract claims. Her experience includes mediation and other forms of dispute resolution. Zoe also has a range of experience acting for lenders, financial institutions, private equity investors, investors in businesses and loan servicers in the financial and property sectors.

Chris Gaunt
Chris is a Senior Associate in RK’s Real Estate Group. His clients include developers, banks, corporate clients and individuals. He has extensive experience of a wide range of real estate transactions including all aspects of acquisitions and disposals, commercial and residential portfolio management, property investment, lease extensions and refinancing. He has a particular specialism in negotiating and drafting planning agreements. His commercial experience includes the acquisition, sale, leasing and management of small and large commercial properties including leisure centres, offices, light industrial units and community centres. He has also acted for lenders in dealing with high value secured lending transactions and advises lenders on property security and title issues.
Simon Geoghegan
Simon Geoghegan
Simon is a partner in RK’s Real Estate Group and has broad experience of all real estate transactions, residential and commercial, including retail, office and light industrial lettings, large and small scale sales and purchases including shopping centres and portfolios. His clients include numerous banks, investors, corporate clients, insolvency practitioners and developers. Simon has over 20 years’ experience in dealing with real estate finance transactions, dealing with high value secured lending transactions. He also advises a number of loan servicers and special servicers on real estate issues arising from distressed loan situations. He joined RK in 1990 while at the same time representing Ireland as a Rugby Union International participating in the Five Nations between 1991 and 1996 and playing in two World Cups in 1991 and 1995.

Kate is a Partner in RK’s corporate and commercial group and advises financial institutions, corporates, shareholders and UHNWIs on a range of corporate and commercial matters. Kate’s legal career began at Ashurst, where in addition to advising on numerous M&A deals, she spent time on secondment at a global investment bank. Following this, Kate spent over 10 years working for UHNWIs and family offices, most recently as Head of Private Office and General Counsel, advising individuals and their businesses on a wide-range of corporate and commercial issues, both in the UK and overseas. Kate specialises in corporate and commercial advisory and transactional work, and her broad experience includes dealing with private banks, managing real estate portfolios and advising on a variety of matters including competitive public takeovers, a c.US$1bn trust exit, aircraft acquisitions and shareholder disputes. A trusted advisor to her clients, Kate is an astute, commercially-minded and pragmatic lawyer who brings a breadth of experience in identifying and solving complex, often multi-jurisdictional, problems for her clients.

Aleksandra Kulicka
Aleksandra is an associate in the firm’s Real Estate Group with broad experience in commercial and residential real estate transactions. Aleksandra works for developers, lenders and private equity funds in the acquisition, disposal as well as refinance of complex investment and development properties. Aleksandra also works closely with the firm’s Finance Group, acting for various lenders and corporate borrowers on senior and mezzanine secured lending transactions. She regularly reports to banks and lending institutions on real estate issues in the context of secured lending transactions.

Peter is a partner in RK’s Real Estate Group. He has extensive experience of a wide range of real estate transactions including all aspects of development acquisitions and disposals, commercial property investment and management, property finance and residential sales and acquisitions. His clients include developers, banks, investors, corporate clients and individuals. Peter has over 20 years’ post qualification experience and deals with real estate development transactions including the purchase of development sites, their funding and the ultimate sale of the developed units. His commercial experience includes the acquisition, sale and management of small and large commercial properties such as shopping centres, offices, public houses, petrol stations and light industrial units. He has also acted for both lender and borrower in dealing with high value secured lending transactions and advises lenders on property security issues. Residential experience includes lease extensions, enfranchisement and management issues.

Laura is a partner in RK’s Dispute Resolution Group. Laura has significant experience acting for lenders, financial institutions and loan servicers in the field of complex and high value professional negligence actions against valuers and solicitors, advising clients both pre-action and in High Court proceedings. Laura also has considerable experience in other areas of banking litigation, including the enforcement of personal guarantees, breach of trust claims and enforcement of mortgage terms and conditions. In addition, Laura deals with all forms of Commercial Litigation, including breach of contract claims and shareholder disputes. Laura has also handled complex real estate litigation on behalf of a wide range of clients including forfeiture proceedings, contested lease renewal proceedings and breach of restrictive covenant disputes.

Luke is an Associate in Rosling King’s Dispute Resolution Team and has a wide range of litigation experience, from the pre-action stages through to trial and costs negotiations. He has expertise in handling professional negligence recoveries, against accountants, solicitors, valuers and real estate sector professionals. He also handles claims arising out of insurance coverage, particularly professional indemnity policies and third-party rights against insurers. Luke also advises banks, LPA Receivers and commercial landlords on real estate disputes, including landlord and tenant proceedings, forfeiture, dilapidations, complex trespass and misrepresentation.

Martin is a partner in RK’s Dispute Resolution Group. Dual qualified (England & Wales and Australia), with over 15 years of litigation and dispute resolution experience, he has handled complex commercial disputes to trial and appeal, mediations and regulatory investigations across several common law jurisdictions. Martin’s experience extends to acting for financial institutions, insolvency practitioners, hedge funds, regulators, public sector bodies and commercial entities. His career includes advising clients in relation to complex cross border interconnected recovery actions worth in excess of £100m associated with the winding up of foreign corporate entities, misrepresentation/ negligence claims worth USD650m, together with successfully defending high profile judicial reviews. As a qualified mediator, Martin has considerable experience in advising and representing a broad spectrum of clients in resolving disputes through mediation and other alternative dispute resolution processes.

Camilla is a Senior Associate in Rosling King’s Dispute Resolution Group, where she specialises in commercial and professional disputes. She handles a broad range of complex, high value, commercial litigation with a focus on both company matters such as unfair prejudice petitions and directors’ duties claims and bringing professional negligence claims against auditors and valuers. She also experienced in contentious insolvency, contractual disputes, regulatory investigations and claims involving civil harassment and commercial fraud and dealing with any associated reputational issues. She also has experience in claims involving breach of data protection legislation and dealing with Subject Access Requests. Her experience includes mediation and other forms of dispute resolution, High Court litigation and taking matters through to the Court of Appeal. Camilla regularly acts for lenders, insolvency practitioners, loan servicers, other financial institutions and commercial entities as well as UHNW and HNW individuals. Her work often has a multi-jurisdictional element and she has experience of dealing with complex off shore group structures. She also has experience in obtaining and defending urgent injunctive relief including freezing orders on behalf of her clients. Kate is a partner in RK’s Dispute Resolution Group, with particular expertise in the fields of commercial litigation and real estate litigation. Kate advises lenders, investors, financial institutions, loan servicers, LPA Receivers and large commercial and residential landlords and developers on a wide range of real estate and property related disputes. She also has experience dealing with commercial dispute resolution and recoveries litigation, both domestic and cross border, including insurance claims and financial disputes, professional indemnity claims, complex international fraud cases and dealing with debt and asset recovery and enforcement. The majority of Kate’s work involves claims in the English High Court however she also has experience of mediation, appeals, First tier property tribunal proceedings and BVI High Court proceedings.

Francesca is an Associate in Rosling King’s Dispute Resolution Team and has a wide range of litigation experience advising corporate clients throughout all stages of High Court proceedings, arbitrations and other forms of ADR. Francesca’s commercial practice focuses on disputes arising out of breaches of directors’ duties, breaches of agreements, unfair prejudice petitions as well as professional negligence claims against a variety of professionals, including auditors and valuers. She also has experience acting for lenders and financial institutions in financial services disputes and corporate fraud.
Georgina Squire
Georgina Squire
Georgina is the head of the Dispute Resolution Group at RK and advises on a broad spectrum of commercial disputes. She acts in cases across most of the commercial divisions of the High Court, resolving disputes through arbitration and many forms of ADR, including mediation, expert determinations and mini-trials. Acting for a wide variety of commercial entities, including companies, lenders, investors, financial institutions, private equity funds and loan servicers on all forms of disputes arising from their businesses, Georgina is known for her expertise in asset recovery, fraud and professional negligence claims, having advised the claimant in most of the precedent case law in this field. She advises on a wide spectrum of commercial disputes including breach of companies law, corporate fraud, shareholder claims and unfair prejudice petitions, breach of directors’ duties, misfeasance and preferences, including claims in corporate insolvency. Georgina has expertise in insurance and reinsurance claims, concentrating on coverage and professional indemnity disputes and has been involved in many high profile cases in the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court. Georgina has considerable expertise in advising on construction and real estate related disputes. She has handled many claims arising from construction projects, developments, real estate finance and joint ventures. Having qualified as a solicitor in 1983, Georgina is also a qualified mediator. She is a past Chair of the Law Society Litigation Committee, a founder committee member of TeCSA and has served on the TCC and Chancery Users Committee. She currently sits on the committee of the London Solicitors Litigation Association.
Caroline Styan

Caroline is an Associate in Rosling King’s Dispute Resolution Team and has experience in advising commercial and corporate clients. Her experience includes working on commercial multi-jurisdictional disputes involving fraud, professional negligence, and directors’ duties as well as dry shipping matters such as disputes in relation to charterparties and contracts of affreightment. Her fraud specific experience has seen Caroline play a significant role in connected Search Order and Freezing Order applications, possession hearings and bankruptcy proceedings. Caroline’s experience extends to London arbitration claims under LMAA terms, together with experience in the High Court and Court of Appeal. As part of this, she successfully represented a client in one of the leading cases on the interpretation of force majeure provisions before the Supreme Court in RTI Ltd v MUR Shipping BV [2024] UKSC 18. Caroline is also a key member of a multi-disciplinary team acting for the liquidators of a European insurance company pursuing former directors and other connected parties in a complex multiple million-pound fraud claim.

Helen Thurkettle is a partner in RK’s Dispute Resolution Group with 22 years’ experience in handling commercial litigation disputes. She deals with all forms of commercial litigation although has largely built her reputation handling banking & finance, real estate and construction litigation. Helen was involved in a number of high profile professional negligence cases relating to real estate lending during the 1990s including Mortgage Express v Bowerman and Platform Home Loans v Oyston Shipways. She has successfully concluded many individual and managed professional negligence claims arising out of losses suffered on residential and commercial real estate lending transactions. Helen handles all types of professional negligence claims, including both defending and pursuing construction professionals such as architects, engineers and construction managers, and also deals with accountant and broker negligence claims. She deals with property and title issues, complex and contested repossessions, and fraud. Helen has a wealth of experience dealing with other lender litigation issues such as shortfall recoveries, title disputes, title insurance, enforcement of guarantees, subrogation claims and mis-selling.

Lucy has specialist commercial litigation experience within a range of business sectors (including Private Equity and Investment, Technology, Construction and the Automotive industries) and has secured ground-breaking decisions for her clients before the Courts of England & Wales, influencing and contributing to the development of the law. She has extensive experience of litigating before the High Court (including specialist divisions such as the Commercial Court and Technology and Construction Court), the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.
